I still believe in kindness. I don’t believe it’s always warranted.

I still believe in autonomy. I don’t believe in it at the cost of humanity.

I still believe in faith. I don’t believe it should be blind.

I still believe in learning. I don’t believe in collegiate education.

I still believe in passion. I don’t believe it should be all-consuming.

I still believe in agency. I don’t believe in denial of privilege.

I still believe in music. I don’t believe in the mainstream circus.

I still believe in empathy. I don’t believe in sympathy or apathy.

I still believe in harmony. I don’t believe in loss of self in the process.

I still believe in beauty. I don’t believe in white capitalist heteropatriarchal definitions of it.

I still believe in words. I don’t believe in the social constructions behind them.

I still believe in success. I don’t believe in society’s definition of it.

I still believe in diversity. I don’t believe there’s an if then strategy to define it.

I still believe in humanity. I don’t believe we are irredeemable.

I will always believe in the revolution.
It is the only way we can be saved.
